How did you get involved with ASUW?
My first involvement with ASUW was as an ASUW Ambassador freshman year! I then joined the UW Leaders program as a leader and have continually gotten more involved since then.

What does your job entail?
I oversee the Office of Communications staff of 6 other employees, including 2 designers, 2 web developers, 1 multi-media coordinator, and 1 systems admin. My role serves as the official Chief Marketing Officer of the organization, and helps to create and execute the marketing strategy behind all that is ASUW.

Favorite part of working for the ASUW?
Definitely the people and exposure it has given me to our campus as a whole. I have learned so much about our university through serving on board, and being able to understand our campus on a more holistic level has been invaluable to me.

What career do you hope to pursue long term?
Still trying to figure this out! I have a strong interest in technology, business strategy, data visualization and analytics, and design. I also find passion in any work supporting international experiences, youth education, and women empowerment in tech. I’d love to one day pursue a career in Product and/or Project Management while also continuing my work in the causes I care about.
